Visual Thinking & eLearning
Have you wondered how Visual Thinking applies to eLearning? or What is Visual Thinking anyway? You're not alone. So, over at the VizThink community (website, wiki, blog), we've decided to do a series of podcasts and webinars covering these topics. Here are the first 3 topics:
Who is TechSmith and what do they do with Visual Thinking? (with Tony Dunckel)
What is idea mapping and how can it be used? (with Jamie Nast & Susi Watson)
How is Visual Thinking related to eLearning? (with Dave Gray & Tony Karrer)
Many more are on the schedule including sessions on graphic recording, presentations, and many others. All of the podcasts and webinars are FREE, but some require registration. Be sure to bookmark the VizThink blog or add it to your reader in order to get the latest updates.

I'm sorry I won't get to the conference but will be there in spirit. I'm highly gratified that the topic of using visualization and thinking is now starting to gather momentum.
I have been practicing the topic for what seems an eternity but in anger and in business for 8 years specifically. Many thanks for creating the spaces and energy for the subject.
It's essential to improve the worlds ability to think and learn.

Finally, Visual Thinking & eLearning (learning in general) is coming of age. While much today is focused on the internet and eLearning, the need for visual thinking and learning has been absent in academia and other higher learning environments for some time. Glad credible advocates are stepping up to the plate to drive this subject to the forefront.
After 40 years of attending and presenting at conferences, VizThink takes the cake - professional, exciting, informative, and ( what a surprise)for two days you ran the conference ON TIME!
I look forward to contributing to the VizThink Community.
